₹40 Lakh Stolen from Music Director Pritam Chakraborty’s Office

In a shocking incident, renowned Bollywood music director Pritam Chakraborty has become the victim of a massive theft. A staggering ₹40 lakh was stolen from his office, prompting his manager Vineet Chedda to file a complaint at the Malad Police Station. The primary suspect in the case has been identified as 32-year-old Ashish Sayal, and multiple teams have been deployed to track him down.

According to police reports, the incident took place on February 4 at around 2 PM. A staff member from a production house had arrived at Pritam’s music studio, Unimus Record Private Limited in Goregaon, to deliver ₹40 lakh in cash to manager Vineet Chedda. At the time, Ashish Sayal, Ahmed Khan, and Kamal Disha were also present at the studio.

The money was placed inside a trolley bag, and Vineet later left to get some documents signed by Pritam at his residence in the same building. However, upon his return, the bag containing the cash was missing. When Vineet tried to contact Ashish, he did not respond, and soon after, his phone was switched off.

Authorities are now investigating Ashish’s financial records and attempting to track his recent transactions. They are also questioning his relatives and analyzing his mobile records.

Pritam, one of Bollywood’s most celebrated music composers, has worked on chart-topping soundtracks for films like Barfi, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and Brahmāstra. He has won numerous prestigious awards and remains a prominent name in the industry.

As the case unfolds, the film and music fraternity are keenly awaiting further developments regarding the shocking theft.
