The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has once again revised the guidelines for the Bihar Board 12th Exam 2025. As per the latest notification, students appearing for the Bihar Intermediate Examination 2025 will not be allowed to wear shoes and socks in the examination hall. This new rule will be enforced from February 6 and remain in effect until the last exam on February 15, 2025.
Revised Dress Code for Bihar Board 12th Exam 2025
BSEB has introduced this change citing improved weather conditions. Earlier, students were permitted to wear shoes and socks from February 1 to February 5. However, following a review on February 5, authorities decided to reintroduce the restriction, effective from February 6. The move aims to maintain the integrity of the examination process and curb any potential malpractice.
According to the official notification issued via @officialbseb on February 4, all candidates, parents, exam center superintendents, district education officers, and other officials must comply with the revised dress code. Any student attempting to enter the examination hall wearing shoes and socks will be denied entry.

“Candidates appearing for the Bihar Board 12th Exam 2025, along with their guardians and examination center authorities, are hereby informed that from February 6 to February 15, students will not be permitted to wear shoes and socks inside the examination hall. This decision has been taken following a review on February 5 due to changing weather conditions.”

Exam Timings and Security Measures
The Bihar Board 12th Exam 2025 is being conducted from February 1 to February 15 in two shifts:
- Morning Shift: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
To ensure a fair examination process, BSEB has implemented strict security measures. The entire exam is being monitored through a centralized control room, with surveillance cameras installed at examination centers to prevent cheating or misconduct.
